For those who used the original V1 PowerGrade: I listened. I read every DM, every email, every review, every comment. I then took the money you invested in V1 and re-invested it. I gained access to several different resources to properly understand what made the original film pipeline so unbreakable, studying why it worked so flawlessly for decades, and spent hundreds of hours rebuilding this tool from the ground up to translate that magic into our new digital world.
One of the biggest requests was for a more “plug-and-play” solution. You wanted power, but you also wanted speed.

My Favorite Kodak 2383 Print LUT: I’m also including my personal, go-to version of the legendary Kodak 2383 print emulation, famous for its rich, cinematic color contrast.

Is this a ‘one-click’ drag-and-drop preset? No, because no truly great color grade is ever just one click. However, this is the next best thing. Thanks to the new plug-and-play preset nodes, you can create stunning, complex looks very, very quickly. You get the speed of a preset but the quality and flexibility of a professional system.
I’m a total beginner. Will I be overwhelmed? No. This system was redesigned with you in mind. Everything is laid out and explained in the full Masterclass in a logical and concise manner. You will quickly understand the layout of the PowerGrade and how easy it is to follow. It’s designed to take you from zero to feeling confident and in control.
What camera footage does this work with? It works with any and every camera you have. In the Masterclass, I teach you exactly what to do to get great results with all footage, including specific cameras that don’t shoot in Log or only shoot 8-bit color, like iPhones and GoPros.
Does this only work on DaVinci Resolve? Yes. This PowerGrade is designed and built exclusively for DaVinci Resolve. It will not work in any other software like Premiere Pro or Final Cut.
Does this work on the free version of DaVinci Resolve? Yes, it works for both the free and Studio versions of DaVinci Resolve. While a couple of the nodes use effects that are only available in the paid Studio version, I made sure to build and show you alternative methods in the Masterclass to achieve the same thing on the free version. You can absolutely use this with the free version.
